About
What's up, I'm Jacques
I’m a New York-based multidisciplinary designer who prides himself on being passionate, but also patient. I like sitting with people, stories, and ideas long enough to understand what they really need. For me, design is not just about how something looks. It is about making every part feel connected, intentional, and whole.
I studied design at Syracuse University, earning my BFA in Communications Design and my MS in Multimedia, Photography, and Design.
Former Aspiring Engineer turned designer
Before I called myself a designer, I honestly thought I was going to be an engineer. I was in the FIRST Robotics Competition, and I loved the process of building, testing, failing, fixing, and figuring things out with other people.
That passion led me first into industrial design, then into communications design, where everything started to click. I realized I could still think like a builder but use visuals, systems, and storytelling to bring ideas to life. I’ve always been bold enough to try things I’m not perfect at yet, and I think that is a big reason my work keeps growing.
